The Solar Plexus Chakra (Yellow)
This chakra supplies nutritive subtle energy to most of the major organs of digestion and purification. These include the stomach, pancreas, liver, gall bladder, spleen, adrenal glands, lumbar vertebrae and the general digestive system.
It is also linked to the issue of personal power. Domination, anger and abuse of others can also be linked to an imbalance of the solar plexus chakra.

The Sacral Chakra (Orange)
This chakra is the subtle-energy seat of sexuality.
It is associated with reproductive organs, the urinary bladder, large and small intestines, the appendix and the lumbar vertebrae.
From a physioenergetic standpoint, the sacral chakra is associated with the expression of sensual emotion and sexuality. The amount of flow through this centre is relative to the amount of emotion and sexual energy in an individuals life.

The Base Chakra (Red)
The base chakra is linked to the basic survival instincts. It is connected with primal feelings of fear from physical injury and is the prime mover behind the so-called fight-or-flight response. This could be why the base chakra has a connection with the adrenal glands, the body’s major source of adrenaline in times of stress.
An imbalance or over stimulation of the base chakra may manifest paranoia and a tendency to react defensively to most situations.

The Earth Grounding Chakra (Brown)
The earth grounding chakra is located 8 – 10cm beneath the feet. It radiates out into the earth, connecting us with the Mother of our birth.
Throughout our time on earth we feel a disconnection from the “Source” which can leave us feeling abandoned, unloved, scared and fearful of being in an environment with strict laws that govern our physicality.
This chakra soothes our souls by radiating comfort and stability from deep within our Mother Earths core.
